How to prepare your stems
- Export every track from the very start of the session so they line up
- Use WAV or AIFF at the session's sample rate, ideally 24-bit
- Switch off effects and limiters on the master bus
- Name files clearly: Lead vocal, Kick, Synth pad
- Leave headroom, with no clipping on any track

What's the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing blends the individual tracks of a song into one stereo file. Mastering is the final step: it sets the overall loudness and tone so the song sounds consistent on every speaker and streaming platform.
Can you mix and master online?
Yes. You send the files by link and everything happens remotely. If you're near Lisbon, you can also come to the studio in Almada.
What files should I send for mixing?
Stems: each track exported separately from the same starting point, as WAV or AIFF, plus one or two reference tracks.
How much does mixing and mastering cost?
It depends on the number of tracks and what the song needs. Send your project and you'll get a clear quote before any work starts.
